The inox heat exchanger is heated by the warm water in the tank.
This ribbed stainless steel tube has a particularly large surface area so that it can heat even fast-flowing water .
In the buffer tank itself, it stores the water that circulates in your heating system and which, e.g. the boiler heats you up.
You can connect the solar collector, boiler or heat pump to the lower heat exchanger.
It is therefore necessary to connect the solar collector or the heat pump system with a heat exchanger , because it is a different liquid, e.g. antifreeze can circulate.
Each tank has a 6/4" connection into which an electric heater can be installed (from 2kW to 9kW) and is used to heat half of the volume of the tank.
If the domestic hot water itself, i.e. from the tap you want to heat running hot water in the tank itself and do not want to use the hot water for heating, choose an indirect storage tank with a heat exchanger, a boiler, they they are enamelled, so they are clean, drinking water remains in them!
