The Ba-32-15 plate heat exchanger, with 15 plates and a total surface area of ​​0.48 m², is most often used to serve single-family houses up to 150 m², provided that the is selected according to our heating type. It can work with both radiators and underfloor heating. It can work great with boilers (with different types of fuels such as gas, pellets, coal), typically up to 16-18 kW.
However, this device will not be optimal choice for operating heat pumps. Heat exchangers are devices for which (similar to their manufacturers) we recommend the use of large plate surfaces, much larger than, for example, in the case of central heating boilers of the same power. This is related to the operating characteristics of heat pumps. We simply recommend models with a larger heating exchange surface.
