The advantage is that the water does not absorb UV rays, so the UV radiation does not escape from the chamber.
It is therefore very important that you only operate the UV lamp when it is in the reaction chamber!
Be careful not to shine directly into your eyes!
Most often in industrial or large it is
used to disinfect swimming pools.
The UV sterilizer does not modify the chemical composition of the water (neither its temperature nor its pH value)
