Acid-resistant steel hydrophore tank

Suitable for almost all domestic waterworks, as a pressure vessel in hot and cold domestic water pipe systems, for solar panels and pressure maintenance systems, as well as for garden pumps.
This 100 liter stainless steel hydrophore tank made of steel with an EPDM membrane will be delivered to you. The tank was leak tested by the manufacturer up to a water pressure of 5.4 bar.
The tank has a 32.89-33.25 mm connector. In addition, the tank has a built-in valve (Schrader valve) to regulate or regulate the diaphragm back pressure. These hydrophore tanks are welded from quality steel plates according to UNI-EN standards and equipped with a heat- and aging-resistant EPDM membrane. The EPDM membrane is easily replaceable.

About Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber (EPDM) Membrane:
This membrane rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. Plastic is characterized by resistance to hot air, weather and ozone. The elastomer has low gas permeability, good chemical resistance and very good damping properties against vibration and impact energy up to 100 °C. Ethylene-propylene-diene rubber remains flexible in the low temperature range down to -70°C. 

About the upstream pressure in the membrane tank:
The inlet pressure is approx. It should be 0.1-0.2 bar below the pump cut-in pressure and should be checked at regular intervals. Failure to do so may result in damage to the EPDM membrane of the hydrophore tank. The more accurate calculation comes from the formula "pump start-up pressure x 0.9". Example: At the pressure switch of the domestic waterworks, the switch-on pressure is set to 1.5 bar: 1.5 bar x 0.9 = 1.3-1.4 bar.
