A flat collector is a solar energy utilization device that is used to collect and store heat energy radiated by the sun's rays. These collectors convert solar energy into heat, which can then be used to produce hot water, heating or even cooling.

The construction of the basic planar collector includes:

Absorber sheet: This sheet is black or dark in color and made of a material that effectively absorbs the solar energy. The absorber sheet collects the thermal energy radiated by the sun's rays.

Thermal insulation:Plane collectors usually have a thermally insulated back panel to minimize heat loss and increase efficiency. Thermal insulation prevents heat from radiating between the back panel and the absorber. 

Glass cover:The top of the flat collectors is covered with a layer of glass, which allows solar energy to enter the into the collector, while protecting the absorbers and the entire system from environmental influences.

Reliability, operational safety and longevity are guaranteed by high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials: among others, safety microprism solar glass with a low metal content (it has excellent heat resistance and a high degree of chemical resistance), and copper.

For similar products, it is worth asking:

1. Is it equipped with heat-treated safety solar glass? Smooth glass breaks easily and into shards, danger of accidents!
Is it microprism? It absorbs light better than frosted glass!
Does it have a low metal content, i.e. does it have increased transmittance?

2. On the material of the collector pipes, because the collector with aluminum connecting pipe must not be installed with copper pipes due to corrosion, and plastic five-layer pipes can only withstand heat up to 95 degrees and that is not enough! Copper is really good!

3. The absorber surface: chemically applied, e.g. black chrome selective coating or just plain painted matte black?
