The charge controller is connected between the solar module and the battery and is thus responsible for controlling the charging process. This means that the battery can always be fully charged. The microprocessor gently charges the battery, thus guaranteeing a long battery life. All voltages, charging processes and parameters are shown on the display. You can set the charging voltage through the control panel, so the solar charge controller can be used on any battery. You can set the voltage at which the low voltage protection is activated and the operating voltage at which the low voltage protection is reset.
Battery overcharging can be prevented as the charging controller stops the charging process when the set final charging voltage is reached.
