The insulation material is black EPP foam, which provides much better insulation than traditional polyurethane foam. The thickness of the insulation can be up to 24 mm. Maximum recommended operating temperature is 115°C. Plate heat exchanger insulation is a product that increases the temperature of the heating medium in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency of the heat exchanger. This is done in such a way as to prevent heat loss to the outside of the heat exchanger, i.e. it gives heat energy to the outside space. This is important for optimizing the heating system and heating costs, as it improves the efficiency of the heat exchange between the two media. This results in energy savings and better operation of the CU or domestic hot water heating system. The heat exchanger must be insulated with a suitable heat insulating material.
