Anode

Our SunSystem tanks are made with a glass-ceramic coating, but there is no such thing as a perfect coating, minor defects and contamination may occur. Corrosion can develop at the place of the defects, to prevent this, so-called we recommend a protective anode. This is a magnesium rod. The anode prevents rusting by corroding instead of the tank itself, so sooner or later it will run out. That is why it is important to periodically check the anode and replace it if necessary.
