Anode for solar collector

Our tanks are made of stainless steel, but there is no such thing as perfect welding, minor errors and contamination may occur. Corrosion can develop at the place of the defects, to prevent this, so-called we recommend an active anode. This is a magnesium rod. The anode prevents rusting by corroding instead of the tank itself, so sooner or later it will run out. That is why it is important to periodically check the anode and replace it if necessary.
The diameter of the magnesium rod itself is 20 mm, the length is 20 cm, 6 mm threaded connection.
