Rubber membrane, metal water tank for reverse osmosis water purifiers. The water tank can be properly used as an osmosis water purification buffer tank, for storing purified water, which facilitates continuous water intake from the tap.

Why is a water tank needed for reverse osmosis water purifiers?
In reverse osmosis systems the filtration process is very slow (due to the principle of filtration, RO membrane gap size: 0.0001 micron), so if there was no water tank, it would take many minutes for 1 glass of water would flow out of the water purifier. The water purifier always replaces the freshly cleaned water in the water tank, so the amount of water collected there (depending on the tank capacity) is always available to us, which we can release faster than if the water purifier was operating without a water tank.

The high-quality steel tank can be used to store osmosis water and, due to its standard connections, it can be used for all common osmosis systems. It can be installed vertically or horizontally. Several tanks of the same type can be installed and used in series to increase the storage capacity. The inner membrane is made of butyl rubber and is pre-filled at the factory.

Butyl rubber:
This rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. This synthetic material is characterized by resistance to hot air, weather and ozone.

The elastomer has low gas permeability, good resistance to chemicals, and very good noise and impact energy absorption properties up to 100 °C. In the low temperature range, butyl rubber remains flexible down to -70 °C. Primarily used for air hoses and linings for tires, bladders, steam hoses and tanks. Other fields of application are films, membranes, unvulcanized sealing materials and tapes.
Butyl rubber is also called IIR (isobutene-isoprene rubber).
