In the selection of spiral coil heat exchangers used in heating systems, we can find a very small but at the same time high performance SPRIEC KN heat exchanger. This 100 mm diameter, cylindrical coiled heat exchanger is usually used to produce domestic hot water, but it also has other functions, so it can also be used in other areas.
Due to its design, the water travels on one side in a spiral, thus turbulent manner. One heating medium (A) makes a long, spiral path through the heat exchanger, while the other (B) passes through it in a transverse direction.
Thanks to this structural design, the available heat transmission factor is of the order of 3-6kW/m²K.
Thanks to this, the heat transfer is better, as well as adequate (>1m/sec), if a continuous water flow rate is ensured, scale deposits practically do not occur in the heat exchanger.
