The Ba-16-40 plate heat exchanger weighs approximately 2.8 kg, but if we plan to install it in our boiler house, remember that it will be filled with water. This means that you can reach approx. 4 kg weight.
The Ba-16-40 heat exchanger can handle a maximum flow rate of 8 m³/h, but in fact, when designing, not overload our circulation pumps, the maximum capacity < We have to work with a flow rate of 75%. Above this value, the pressure resistance increases significantly. 
The recommendations for servicing the plate heat exchanger are actually quite similar for all brands or manufacturers and are limited to more or less regular cleaning, which can make the device last much longer. It is recommended to clean the heat exchanger at least once a year to ensure optimal service life. This is the only maintenance of the device, as well as checking for possible signs of wear.
